I tied a few panfish flies today.  Most used the small barbell eyes I picked up at bass pro.  The hooks are #12 and most of them have legs.  They should sink with the hook up and I should be able to slowly move them across the bottom once they sink.   I saw the pattern online somewhere, but don’t remember what the name was.
